Here I am… I’m 30.
How do I feel? Ami-azing!
I’m more secure and healthier than I’ve ever been at any other age. All the lessons in my 20s have prepared me for this number 30. I was mourning the last week of being 29 to embrace this number 30. I spent it assessing failures, accomplishments, love– all of it. Someone special helped me realize that youthfulness isn’t defined by age, it’s methods and ways of enlivening the spirit that resides in me. If anything, congratulations for living on earth for 30 years.
I’m sorry for not writing for a while. I had to “spirit my style” the last few years of my 20s before I could “spirit your style.”
My favorite cousin always told me to spend my 20s exploring, no matter the risks, because you still have time to bounce back up in case of mistakes. The 30s should have a bit more of a stable approach. I took the advice, but sometimes, no matter how meticulously I plan, I’ve discovered I have no control.. and I just have to improvise with life’s curveballs and just be.
I’m excited to share all that I’ve learned and all of my experiences with you–just not all in this one post. It would be too lengthy and overwhelming. I’m sure you’re curious about what happened with my insperience with Mr. Tacky (it didn’t last long, but I’ll share how it helped me overcome shyness). Some of my favorite spiritual explorations helped me strengthen my mind, meditate better and launch me into the job I have now.
The inner things create the outer things. Let’s just have some goofy fun.Kindly be inspired to share this, especially if it's a benefit to someone. Thank You SpiritYourStyle is Social on FB, Twitter, Instagram 🙂
